This scholarship offers financial support to disabled and neurodivergent students, as well as those with personal disability experiences, enabling them to pursue college education and achieve their academic and career aspirations. Preference is given to applicants with 3.0 GPA, areas of study in special education, disability policy, disability justice and advocacy.
This scholarship is in memory of Willie Louis Pegues (1935-2012). It is available to financially disadvantaged undergraduate students with a minimum 3.0 GPA majoring in STEM fields such as biology, physics, engineering, data science, etc. Preference is given to applicants with leadership and community service experience.
